Webinar- Roadmap for Adapting to Climate Risk (read instructions)
This three-hour training introduces the “Roadmap” assessment methodology designed to help communities characterize their exposure to current and future hazard and climate threats and assess how existing planning and policy efforts may integrate this information to address community issues. The training is offered virtually (through WebEx) by the NOAA Coastal Services Center, and you'll be able to access it from your computer.
After completing this course, participants will be able to
- Identify key issues and impacts associated with current and future coastal hazard risks
- Identify major elements of community vulnerability
- Identify strategic "win-win" approaches for reducing risks and vulnerabilities while also addressing other community issues
