Reviewing Wetland Ratings in Western WA
This one-day workshop will provide wetland regulators with practical information and experience in reviewing the results from using the newly revised rating system for wetlands in western Washington. It is specifically designed for those who will be reviewing projects where the rating system was used to establish buffers or ratios for compensatory mitigation. You will gain a working knowledge of topics such as the hydrogeomorphic classification of wetlands, how to separate wetlands into units for rating, and the questions that cause the most problems on the field form. The purpose of the class is to provide you with knowledge to determine if a field form was correctly filled out. The class will include both a lecture and a group exercise.
Lunch is provided.
