This one-day class is geared toward consultants who work with local governments using the 2005 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington to regulate drainage and stormwater in proposed development and redevelopment projects. You will learn how to use the stormwater manual to create a stormwater site plan that is in compliance with the 10 Minimum Requirements defined in the Manual such as source control, on-site management, treatment and flow control. You will also hear two case studies that further explain the details associated with creating a stormwater site plan. In addition, the class will provide guidance on the relevant Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit requirements and tips about how to review develop a Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.

This class will not include any instruction on the use of the Western Washington Hydrology Model.
