Kate Thompson has been a Wetland Banking Specialist with the Department of Ecology since 2006. She provides technical assistance to local, state, and federal agencies and the public on wetland mitigation banking, including the state wetland mitigation bank rule. She participates on the Inter-agency Review Team that reviews and approves proposed wetland mitigation banks. She also evaluates site conditions and progress of approved banks.
