Brad Murphy is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist and has worked as a wetland biologist in Western Washington since 1995. During that time Brad has worked as a private wetland consultant, a Project Manager at the Corps of Engineers and as a Wetland/Shoreland Specialist and Watershed Lead at Ecology. In 2009 Brad added Alternative Wetland Mitigation Lead as his primary job responsibility at Ecology. Brad works at Ecology’s headquarters building. His geographic area of responsibility is statewide. Brad provides technical assistance to federal and state agencies, local governments and citizens on the state’s Clean Water Act, Shoreline Management Act and wetland issues as they pertain to the Wetland Banking Rule, In-Lieu Fee Program, Growth Management Act, Shoreline Master Programs and local critical area ordinances.
