Ms. Faghin is a land use and environmental planner specializing in waterfront planning issues. She has been with Reid Middleton for over eighteen years where she has been responsible as project manager or project planner for a wide variety of complex land use planning and development projects for municipalities, ports, industrial, commercial and residential clients, with her primary focus on the shoreline arena where she has prepared updates to shoreline master programs, secured local state and federal permits for waterfront redevelopment, restoration and enhancement projects and worked with public and private entities on master planning and permitting of shoreline projects including Brownfield industrial sites, marinas, waterfront parks and other public and private shoreline amenities. Her clients include ports, public jurisdictions, and private property owners. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on issues pertaining to shorelines and waterfront development.
In addition to planning experience, Ms. Faghin practiced law in the field of land use, environmental and real estate development and is trained as a land use mediator. She is Snohomish County Trustee Chair for the Cascade Land Conservancy, on the Whidbey Basin Core Team for Puget Sound Partnership, and Washington Planning Association Legislative Committee point person on Shoreline related issues. Nicole received her Masters in Urban Planning from MIT and her law degree from Northeastern University.
